Watch Your Statements - Missing SSWU
I checked the statement and found the following paragraph "Congratulations. You've reached the next threshold level and earned yourself AC Upgrades Certificates. Enclosed are Special System-Wide Upgrade Certificates offering you the flexibility to upgrade from even more booking classes."
I called the SE desk and after being placed on hold for what seemed like forever, I was told that they would send out the proper SSWU certs that I had earned.
Is this becoming a regular occurance?

Friday I received a letter from Aeroplan with the two proper SSWU certs that I had earned. :)
A little under three weeks, not too bad I guess, but I would have been steamed if I missed an upgrade because I didn't have the right certs.
The moral of the story, check your statements and enclosed certs very carefully and don't be afraid to call if you've been shorted.

I wonder how widespread this is. I understand the odd mistake. But if its widesprerad it just again demonstrates managment haven't provided staff the correct training and their commitnment to follow through on real customer service is less than stellar. AC and AP are great at promotional hype...less than great at delivery.
Not yet, but I'm hanging on to them until I get my replacement SSWU certs.

mpc1, just curious, but what day this year did you surpass 45K?
My March statement should contain the SSWUs as well along with the MLL & Arrivals passes for crossing 60K. Looks like I shouldn't be expecting the SSWUs based on the numerous reports of people not getting it.
I'm guessing that not everyone in Aeroplan yet understands there are now two different types of upgrades.
I passed 45K on Feb 22nd and am now just over 58K. I've got another 14K already booked. Plus I've also done 9 non-status non-*A flight segments too.
One Mileage Run, one holiday, the rest has been business.
