Thanks NZ :-)
1. Transitting LAX from AA (checked in at ORD) to NZ (LAX-LHR-CPH), only AA priority tags, and NZ upgraded to C (using e-certs), bags arrive at CPH with NZ priority tags. Thanks NZ for taking the effrt to find the bags and tagging all three. Has not happened with any other airline.
2. Have been NZ*E or equivalent for the past 6 years, due to relocation, NZ flights have been once per year - credited to SK. Unsolicted NZ wrote explaining that due to their recent problems I may have lost confidence in them, but will extend NZ*E for 12 more months ^ in case I decide to come back.
Upshot olf #2 is that assuming that NZ*E e-certs remain, I will book a flight next year on NZ to the US, and that it also makes it easier to reduce down an annoyingly large number of miles. So everyone wins (until next year anyway...)

yes, typical Danish efficiency. The NZ tags are the same as *A orange ones, except they say NZ on the bottom.
Edited to Add - How can one be NZ*E or equivalent ?
4-5 years ago before NZ were in *A the top tier was Gold in the NZ scheme which was given to the top 1% of flyers. In terms of op-ups and the like the actual top back then was Koru Life Membership. Basically that put you on the top of every pile and almost automatic upgrades. Those were the days ^
With *A it all changed and let's not even discuss the events of 2001.
