AC will be celebrating the Star Alliance 10th Anniversary by hosting a cocktail reception.

Just inviting their SEs to a booze-up. Typical AC approach to these things: giving away more to those who need it less...
I still have a pair of upgrades that were distributed to STARGolds on the 1st Anniversary of the Alliance. These were only good for use at the gate, and only on the STAR carrier you were not a member of. At the time, including AC, there were five partners: LH, SK, TG, UA and the now-gone VARIG.
IIRC [previous memory loss has been mea culpa'd) for the 5th Anniversary we did have a promo that was based on how many STAR partners one flew.
No invite... I must be be lower than peon. :)
Not just SE's - I got 4 invites and I am a peon :p
I am certain AC IT Gremlins are to blame for the delay :D
I am not an AC apologist as we all know,I cannot believe AC would not invite its most loyal soldiers.:D
