Simple question.........I think.
Thanks/Merci to those who can help me with my questions. :)
Oh right... booking on BMI stock is probably the factor that prevented you from picking a seat on AC metal (not sure what the "lowest economy" fare was at the time you booked). Well, AFAIK through my own experiences, I have booked UA stock with AC metal on the first outbound and have used the AC online checkin no problem. Not sure if this applies to BD.
You should be able to use the web check-in. Sometimes it is necessary for some reason to have the AC file ref number for it to work however. You can check-in online as early as 12 hours prior to departure. I believe I am understanding that you show as a BD passenger on AC flight. If that is the case a res agent at AC would not be able to change your seats, however if you are booked as an AC passenger on BD ticket stock we may be able to change seats. Please check with res and an agent can look at your file. :)
No I didn't get a chance to pre-assign a seat. I booked through expedia. When I look up my booking on the BMI site, it refers to the fare as cheapest. Couldn't they have used a nicer sounding term like least expensive. Oh well I was looking for the cheapest and according to BMI that's what I got. :)
Well I guess I'll have to wait and see. Thanks for the prompt response. :)
The fare that I got was also what ita software was saying was the cheapest for this paticular flight. Although expedia is saying that I should be able to checkin at the Air Canada kiosks.
Thanks/Merci to those who can help me with my questions. :)
Did you get the chance to pre-assign your seat when you booked the flight?
