Crazy AA Run advice needed
I'd like to see if the experts can help me fine tune this to get as much out of it as i can. Here's what I whipped up, originating out of GIG.

GIG-GRU-JFK-ZRH-JFK-GRU-GIG is one ticket $1196.80 (17,434 mi) (booked, 7 day min return, but "Stopover" in NY for 7 days and then a turnaround in ZRH)
4x jfk-lax $786.80 (4,950 mi each) (no restrictions)
JFK-NRT-SJC-JFK $750.00 (14,468 miles) (sat "stay")
Total status: 51702
Bonus: 51702

Total miles: 109404
Total Cost: $2733.60
Less $500 voucher: $2233.60
Cost per status mile: $0.043 (yikes!)

All my overnights in NY are free (except subway), no other overnights anywhere else. The GIG-GRU-JFK-ZRH-JFK-GRU-GIG is booked and paid for, and the only flight I HAVE to take.. I need an afternoon in NY, but other then that I’m open to ideas!

I would add the EUR05 bonus code (5/10/15) if the fare paid qualifies for the JFK to ZUR RT portion and then connect to NRT through LAX both ways on this fare from AA.com for $ 7 dollars more for the additional 1,384 base miles and a nicer transcon flight.
JFK-NRT RT = 13,490 miles
JFK-NRT-SJC = 14,468 miles
JFK-LAX-NRT-LAX-JFK = 15,852 miles
You get the 762 to LAX both ways versus the 757 to SJC.

Sorry Bonus Miles do not count towards EXP status you have to actually fly 100,000 on Discount fares or 66,667 giving you 1.50 pt/mile for full-fare economy (usually Y/B), business class, and first class. So you need 10 more JFK-LAX flights although you could fly via DFW which together with your other 4 via JFK-DFW-LAX would mean you only need 13 in total. You could also wait and see if AA match BA's JFK-LHR $198 RT Fare then you would only need 11 JFK-LHR-RT journeys, and probably some hemorrhoid cream :)

I'm just trying to get as much out of this week of flying as I can.. Even if AA matches the 4-5 day minimum/sat stay wouldn't work as MR
My favorite 31j is available both ways from SJC.. I'll check to see if it's available from LAX

I would think so, but check with AA if this matters. You are not combining offers and JFK-ZUR-JFK is a RT.
