3 month old chocolate lab puppy is peeing on my bed!?
I have crate trained her from day 1 and she does really good generally. she barks to go outside and then she goes and does her business. I went outside for just a minute and came back in and she acted "like she did somethiing bad"..and I went to my bedroom and sure enough she went pee on my bed!
what the ???
I said to her "bad dog" and put her in her crate.
I cant believe it! I have had many pups in my lifetime and none have ever done this before.
she goes back for her last series of vaccines nextweek and i am going to ask the vet about this.
I have heard of a vulva fold where there cant get all the urine out when they go. maybe she has this problem. idk?
thanksi allso have a girl staffy that did this to my bed i just took her back in the room showed her the pee and siad no naughty i made her sit in her bed for a while she did it once more after that and i did the same she never done it agane and shes 2 now im sure youv done that anyway its something to do with our smell shell get the message just be firm get her cheqed anyway for peace of mind injoy yr new puppyTeach your dog to stay off the bed. Also feed and water on a schedule, likewise make sure you potty them good.It a dominance thing. What can be more " alpha male " than peeing in your rivals bed.
When feeding place food down and remove or block her from getting it.
